Honor Gifts Honor gifts provide an alternative to traditional gifts for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and holidays. Instead of purchasing a set of towels or blender for a newly married couple, for example, guests can give to a charitable organization in their honor. As each gift comes in, an acknowledgement card is sent to the donor and the person or couple being honored.
Memorial Gifts Memorial gifts honor the memory of someone who has passed on. In lieu of sending flowers, those wishing to show sympathy to the loved ones of a recently deceased person can make a gift to a chosen charity. As each gift comes in, an acknowledgement card is sent to the donor and the honoree's next-of-kin.
Gift Registries There is also an option of setting up an honor gift registry or memorial registry. Recipients or family members of gift registries will also receive a commemorative book, which acknowledges and honors the fund designee and lists all who contributed to the registry or memorial.
