Minnesota Vikings Players Visit St. Joe's
St. Joseph's Home for Children received a very special visit from some of its biggest — literally — fans: the Minnesota Vikings.
Six Vikings, including All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson, and the Vikings training staff came to St. Joe's Sept. 22 to encourage the children to exercise for at least 60 minutes every day. The players threw passes and demonstrated agility drills to get the kids moving.
The Vikings' partnership with St. Joe's began in 1998. A group of employee volunteers from Faegre & Benson L.L.P. helped facilitate the event.
Fox Sports Network featured the team's visit to St. Joe's during the Sunday morning "Vikings Weekly" pregame show. Video from the visit can be viewed on the Vikings' Web site.
