Become an Advocate

Want to give a three-year-old the best possible start in life?

You just have to send an e-mail.

Often unintentionally, laws can hurt those most in need in our community. We need your help. And it won’t take more than three minutes.

Catholic Charities' Office for Social Justice works with thousands of people just like you in the Twin Cities to remind lawmakers about the needs of all our neighbors. Simply by using your computer, you can make your voice heard to ensure children have access to quality, affordable early childhood education. You can help a family get health care for their children. And you can help a veteran move off the streets and into an apartment.

All you have to do is send an e-mail to osj@archspm.org. Tell them you want to receive action alerts, e-mails on how lawmakers need to hear from you about education and health care. We’ll give you some tips on what information to include in your e-mail and tell you how to find contact information for your legislator. You just have to send the e-mail.

We won’t sell your e-mail address. And we won’t send you junk mail. But we will be grateful.

And so will the 35,000 children, men and women we serve every year.
