Hi, we are Joel, Shanyn and Kelsey. We are a fun, loving and nurturing family, and we look forward to welcoming a second child. We enjoy spending time with family at the lake, going on various outings like the zoo or museums and playing at home. Some hobbies of ours include sports, travel, music and reading. We live in a single family home in the suburbs with a nice yard and a park nearby. We want to teach our children to be honest, to always try their best and to treat others with kindness and respect no matter their differences.

We treasure the time we get to spend with our family and friends. We both have large extended families and have so much fun during reunions and celebrations. Together with our families, we welcomed Tristan into our lives through open adoption. Even though Tristan’s birthmom has moved to another state, we are grateful that we can stay in touch with her through phone calls, letters and pictures. As a family, we enjoy taking several camping trips each year. We also regularly visit the zoo and our neighborhood parks. In our family, your child would be surrounded with love and support.
