The spirit of Saint Nicholas will be held in Saint Paul on Thursday, December 4. This annual event is a gathering of more than 700 philanthropic, corporate and civic leaders which benefits the individuals, families and children served by Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Catholic Charities’ Giving Tree, A holiday tradition for 22 years. Catholic Charities will be back at Macy’s Court at the Mall of America this season collecting holiday gift items for those most in need. From socks and mittens to bedding and coats, help meet the basic needs of many in our community living in poverty.

Concert for the Common Good

St. Olaf-in-the-City Orchestra, Chorus and soloists
Dr. Lynn Trapp, conductor and organist/pianist
From Age to Age Choral Music Ensemble, Brennan Michaels, director

This concert benefits Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis and Exodus Residence at St. Olaf Church.
The St. Olaf Parish Choir joins From Age to Age Choral Music Ensemble, with solo and orchestral forces of St. Olaf to perform Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo by Franz Joseph Haydn. St. Olaf cantors Cailin Gudio and Timothy Lunneborg will perform solo and duet vocal works. From Age to Age Choral Music Ensemble performs as choir-in-residence. Dr. Lynn Trapp will be at the Lively-Fulcher organ for Concerto for Organ and Strings by John Cook.
