St. Joseph’s Home for Children Emergency Shelter
St. Joe’s Emergency Shelter provides 24-hour emergency shelter for youths 6 to 17-years-old who have been removed from a situation of crisis, abuse or neglect. Children are often referred by Hennepin County First Response. Referrals from other counties are also welcome.
Approximately 350 children are cared for in Emergency Shelter each year. All youth see a health care professional upon entering the shelter.
