Walk to End Hunger This Thanksgiving Day
Start a new tradition this Thanksgiving Day and help those in need by taking part in the Walk to End Hunger. Join the Catholic Charities team at the walk from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 27 at the Mall of America.
Participants will walk a five-kilometer route through the mall to raise awareness and funds to end hunger in the Twin Cities metro area, and gather thousands of non-perishable food items for hunger relief agencies in the Twin Cities.
If you can't be there on Thanksgiving, you can still support the fight to end hunger. To make a financial contribution to the walk, call 612-807-2228 from Nov. 22 through Nov. 25 and designate your gift to Catholic Charities. Volunteers will take over-the-phone donations from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Proceeds will be distributed to the participating Hunger Initiative partners.
