Our Mission
The mission of Catholic Charities is to serve those most in need. We help individuals and families to reach their full human potential as we call for justice in the community.

Working with Minneapolis and St. Paul’s poorest and most vulnerable members, we help individuals in crisis situations find the external resources to endure for the moment and the internal resources to thrive for a lifetime.

Our Services
With a diverse range of programs, Catholic Charities annually helps tens of thousands of people. We have served in the Twin Cities community for more than 135 years, providing hope through four areas of service: Housing and Emergency Services, Children's Services, Family Services and Advocacy.

Our Volunteers
In 2007, nearly 11,000 individuals contributed over 161,000 volunteer hours by serving with Catholic Charities!
