You can change lives.

  • A $10 gift helps us buy $90 worth of food for the food shelves.
  • A $30 gift provides two nights’ of shelter and hot meals for one person at the Dorothy Day Center.
  • A $100 gift helps a pregnant woman get the prenatal care she needs to deliver a healthy child.

Diane lived at the Dorothy Day Center. Homeless, she slept on a mat on the floor. Staff at the Dorothy Day Center helped Diane find stable housing. Today she attends nursing school.

Every day, Catholic Charities moves people out of poverty.

Young parents — 14, 15 and 16 years old — learn how to manage a budget, take parenting classes and get support to complete school and find a job. In fact, 92 percent of parents involved in Parenting Services remain in school and find a job.

Our Senior Care Management program works to keep senior citizens in their homes as long as safely possible. The average annual cost of a nursing home is $70,000. Catholic Charities spends $1,700 a year for each client.

At Northside Child Development Center in North Minneapolis, children age six weeks to 16 years participate in educationally sound, age-appropriate programming before and after school.

You can make a difference. Donate today to change people's lives. Gifts of any size are truly appreciated.
