Branch I Food Shelf

Branch I Food Shelf provides up to a five-day food supply for low-income households and people experiencing hunger in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis. Clients can supplement their food resources and access emergency supplies, including hygiene items, baby formula and diapers. Groceries on Wheels delivers meals to homebound and elderly people. Food shelf donations are always welcome.

Services:

  • Perishable and nonperishable food items
  • Culturally specific food program for Hispanic/Latino populations
  • Groceries on Wheels program for homebound individuals
  • Emergency supplies such as baby formula and diapers
  • Clients must be able to verify address and social security number
  • Adults 18 years and older must provide ID and documentation for children (medical card, school picture ID, etc.)

Hours:
Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m. – noon
Thursday 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. (produce program available noon – 2 p.m.)
Saturday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
