Your Contributions at Work Because of you, children, families and adults in the Twin Cities improve their lives and build a stable future. Thank you.
Read about a few of the 35,000 people whose lives were changed last year alone:
- Tina, Kara and Darren each overcame difficult circumstances in their lives with support from Counseling Services' professionally trained and licensed mental health professionals. Read their stories.
- John, a formerly homeless youth, found shelter at Hope Street for Runaway and Homeless Youth. While there, he graduated from high school and began taking college classes. The support of staff helped him set high goals for himself, and John graduated from college in 2009.
- Charles moved into his own apartment after staying at one of Catholic Charities' emergency shelters for six weeks. A Housing First Rapid Re-housing outreach worker helped Charles move into his own permanent apartment after he experienced a brief episode of homelessness. The outreach worker provides follow-up services to help Charles and other adults like him stay in their housing.
