As the wind blows colder, the rush and excitement of the holidays will soon bring joy to families all over our community. But many people in our community struggle for the basics of life, much less the joy of gifts and a holiday meal.

Once again this year, Catholic Charities will hold its Sponsor a Family Holiday Event, and are asking generous people in the Twin Cities to join us in creating a joyous holiday for those in our community who are most vulnerable and in need.

While we help families with children through the Sponsor a Family Holiday Event, we also include people who are most often forgotten during the holidays – people who are alone, older and struggling. These people aren’t included in most holiday programs, and Catholic Charities wants to address this unmet need as well as provide holiday joy for families with children.

Everyone needs to know that they are loved and remembered during the holidays. Please join us in supporting the people Catholic Charities serves through its many programs that help them take steps toward self-sufficiency. Your generous help will make the holidays a joyous time for those who need it the most.
