Advocate with Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis

Catholic Charities serves those most in need while calling for justice in the community. We are a leader at solving poverty, creating opportunity, and advocating for justice in the community. We encourage you to join us as we work to create lasting change for people living in poverty.

Catholic Charities Office for Social Justice works with staff in our direct service programs, lawmakers from the local to federal levels, Catholic parishes, engaged community members, and other nonprofit organizations to advocate with and for those living in poverty.

For more information on the work we do, please download a summary of Catholic Charities' legislative outcomes of the 2013 legislative session in Minnesota.

Catholic Charities' advocacy work is rooted in our mission, core values and in the moral principles of Catholic Social Teaching. We are guided by the expertise of our direct service staff who work daily with those most in need, and the extensive research that our agency conducts on the demographic s and the landscape in which we do our work.

Join us! Become an advocate on behalf of low-income families, children, and all people living in poverty.

The Office for Social Justice has been advocating for over 40 years. Learn more about our history.
